Cyanotype Prints
2021-2025
Cyanotype on cotton rag paper, from digital inkjet negatives.
Creating cyanotypes allows me to reimagine and reconnect with those moments. It gives me the opportunity to experience them again, while also transforming them into something that holds more weight than their original digital counterparts.
By making a cyanotype, I’m able to bring personal feelings, shared memories, and the physical nature of these experiences into something tangible. My hope in creating these images is that when viewed in person, they can convey the emotion and energy of those fleeting moments and maybe even inspire others to go out and make their own.
