For many, Skyline acts as more than just a lift; it has become a place where we are able to reflect and observe change. It’s where conversations start and end, where weather shifts are noticed, and where memories of Bluewood have formed for decades. It serves as a shared vantage point that frames not only the mountain itself, but the moods of specific moments in time and the memories associated with the lift.
Created during a period when our time on Skyline is coming to a close, the collection stands as an acknowledgment of the lift’s prominence, the memories tied to it, and its metamorphosis into an icon that has quietly shaped countless days on the mountain for many.
These photographs were not created with the intention of becoming a collection, but instead existed as individual moments from different seasons and periods at Bluewood. However, when brought together, they attempt to reflect a deeper sense of observation and connection to the lift, emphasizing Skyline as a recurring presence—one that has subtly shaped our collective perspectives over time.
